Clarence Denmark, Professional Football player
Denmark attended Lee High School in the early 2000s. After graduation Denmark played college ball for Mississippi Delta CC, Troy University and the University of Arkansas-Monticello. Denmark played two seasons while at Arkansas-Monticello after transferring from Troy University. Denmark finished his college career with 91 receptions, 1586 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns. Denmark went undrafted in the NFL draft, but was picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars where he spent some time during the 2009 and 2010 seasons on the team's practice squad. Denmark was picked up by the Winnipeg Bombers of the (CFL) Canadian Football League in May of 2011 where he was Winnipeg's nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie. Through the 2013 season Denmark has accumulated 183 receptions, 2338 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns in route to the Bombers winning 3 consecutive division championships.

Shaquille Johnson, Professional Basketball player
Johnson was a two-time Florida Class 5A Player of the Year and was selected three times to the Class 5A All-State First team. In his senior year, playing point guard for the Generals, he averaged 24.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 7.6 assists and 3.5 steals per game leading the Generals to a 21-5 record and Gateway Conference championship. His efforts earned him second runner-up for Mr. Basketball for the state of Florida. Johnson finished his career with the Generals with the school record of 2,205 points. After high school he became Robert E. Lee High School's first player to sign a Division I scholarship choosing to attend Marshall. While at Marshall he started 98 games averaging 9.6 points and 3.2 rebounds with 300 assists and 125 steals over his collegiate career. Johnson holds Marshall's record for most games played, playing in 134 games. After college Johnson chose to play professional basketball in Europe (SayRi of the Finland 1st Division), the United States (West Virginia Miners of the PBL) and South America (Regatas of the Peruvian Superior league and 9 de Julio of Argentina).
