Announcements:

• Coaches of spring sports please provide your schedules to Coach Bloxom-Johnson as soon as possible so your schedules may be uploaded.
• Congratulations to the Marathon High runners that completed the Donna 26.2 this past Saturday, we at Lee High School are proud of the hard work and dedication you put in this season! 
• The Generals Faculty Basketball team split their games last week meeting some of their fiercest competition of the season. The Generals lost to the Spurs 59-52 and beat the J'ville Thrill 73-72.
• The Baseball team put on a batting clinic against Ribault this past Wednesday, winning the game 19-0!
• Congratulations to Rayford James, who on Saturday broke the Lee High School 1200m record with a blazing 3:13.0 at the Sandalwood Saints Open. Teammate Dominic Williams finished 4th in the 1200m. On the girls side, Ariel O'Neal finished 2nd in the 1200m.

All Pro Dad has been postponed to Wednesday, October 9, 2013 to coincide with early release. The meeting will be held at 1pm at Lee High School, refreshments will be served. Generals to run at Katie Caples Invitational Saturday

On Saturday the Boys' and Girls' Cross-Country teams will run under the lights at the annual Katie Caples Invitational. The meet will feature 53 teams from Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Races start at 5:45pm and will conclude with awards at 9:00pm.

Admission is $5 for adults and teens with all proceeds going to the Katie Caples Scholarship Foundation. For those unable to attend the Invitational live streaming of the meet is available starting at 5:45pm. [Click Here to Live Stream]

JV Football Opens Season Thursday

The JV Generals Football team will take on the Wolfson Wolfpack Thursday night at 6pm in the first game in the newly renovated Backyard. Both JV and Varsity have played an all away schedule the previous two seasons due to construction at Robert E. Lee High School. The Generals hope to continue how they left off the 2012 season, an 8-7 win over Providence.
